According to Big Mouth Marketing, more than 2.4 billion people use the Internet every day, and of those, 90% have contacted a company online in the last 12 months. Not only does a business website give your business more authority, but it also is your 24/7, low-cost customer service rep. Having a website is a MUST for mortgage brokers these days. The most basic website should have at a minimum these three pages: Home Page, About Us Page, Contact Page. We’ve broken them down for you and outlined what to put on each page:

Home Page

  • Logo and Brand Identifiers
  • Introduction to Your Business
  • Your Features and Benefits
  • Site Menu
  • Call to Action Button- can be “Contact Me,” “Learn More,” “Click Here,” just start with an action verb that you want visitors to take

About Page

  • Team Member Bios
  • Company History

Contact Page

  • Basic Contact Information: Phone Number, Email Address, Bonus- link all of your social channels for further engagement
  • A Contact Form
  • Business Address
  • Hours of Operation

Other good pages to include on your website are an FAQ page, a blog, and customer testimonials. For more website help, see our blog post "Key Elements of Your Small Business Website."
